Participate free Self Directed CBT for Anxiety DeProgram Anxiety Research


De-Program Anxiety - Self-Directed Research Project

Thank you for your interest in participating in this research project. The initial cohort of participants have now completed - READ REVIEWS HERE

Please make sure you are able to meet the criteria:

What you would be expected to do:
  • Complete the full course week by week over 6 weeks (10 weeks maximum to allow for other commitments - work, holidays etc)
  • Send in weekly feedback using Progress Check forms (takes only a few minutes at the start of each new module)
  • Complete and send in a final repeat anxiety measure to compare your end score with your initial score at the end of the course
  • Send in a "Review/Evaluation" of the course

Do you meet the criteria to participate?
  • Feel able to work self-directed (limited therapist support - feedback from weekly Progress Checks)
  • Have an anxiety score between 10 and 24
  • Have a low mood score of 7 or less (exceptions can be made up to a score of 10 on a case by case basis)
  • Not currently receiving counselling or therapy for anxiety or depression
  • Be over 18 years old

What to do if your anxiety measure is 25 or higher and/or your Mood Indicator Score is more than 7

Provided you are able to agree to all criteria including 1-11 below, you may be able to participate in a separate research project. If your anxiety measure is 25 or higher, and/or your Mood Indicator is above 7, and you would like to participate in a separate project, please indicate this in items 10 and 11 in the form below

1. I confirm that I am over 18 years old

2. I confirm I have completed and sent in my anxiety measure

3. I confirm I have completed and sent in my mood indicator

4. I confirm I am not currently receiving counselling or therapy for anxiety or depression

5. I confirm I feel able to work Self-Directed with limited therapist support

6. I am willing to complete the full course, week by week, over 6 weeks (where necessary, due to other commitments, up to 10 weeks)

8. I agree to complete and send in a final measures at the end of the course, to compare with my initial score

9. I agree to send in my review/evaluation at the end of the course

Where your measures DO NOT meet the criteria for either the anxiety measure or Mood Indicator, or both, but are opting to use the Self-Directed option for the purposes of a separate project, pleased be advised that working Self-Directed is challenging. Where individuals find the Self-Directed process too difficult to keep up, you are at liberty to stop at any time.

Thank you for your request. Where you have confirmed that you meet the above criteria and your scores are verified for mild-moderate anxiety (24 or less) and Mood Indicator (7 or less), you will receive an email with a code to access De-Program Anxiety in due course.

Where your measures DO NOT meet all criteria, but you are opting to try the Self-Directed programme as part of a separate project, I will be in touch by email.
